In 1982, exploration geologist Don Muchow began mounting pewter figurines on minerals in the garage of his Reno, Nevada home. In December of that same year he quit his job, hired his first employee and Comstock Creations was born.

The entire operation was moved to Durango, Colorado in 1984 and quickly began to grow and expand it's wholesale pewter product line. By 1989 Comstock Creations had been listed in Inc 500's list of 500 fastest growing private companies for two straight years. Today, Comstock Creations, Inc. is an "Employee Owned Company"

New wholesale pewter product lines such as Car Chimes, Tag Alongs, Thimbles, Bookmarks, Jewelry, and Feathered Friends help keep our customers and retailers pleased. All of our wholesale pewter giftware and wholesale pewter jewelry is designed, manufactured and distributed right here at our factory in Southwestern Colorado.

Our 30 employees live in and around Durango which is near the Four Corners Region of the United States and one of the most stunning parts of the country with 14,000 foot tall mountains, wild running rivers, wilderness areas, lots of tourists and red sandstone canyon country.
